  • Going to Russia this Wednesday!

I figured I would blog a bit today since it's been awhile. Lots of great things have been happening but I haven't blogged because school has been crazy busy and now the semester is almost over! Looking back these past few months have been so amazing, and I know that this experience will easily be one of the best I will have in my lifetime. I am also so fortunate that I get to come back next semester after Christmas break and do it all over again. Not many people get to say that, and I'm so happy that I can because there are a lot of things that I could put under the "If I could go back" category. I am very excited to see what kind of experience I will have next semester after doing things a little differently. I will be going to a different university, where all my classes will be taught in Spanish, and I will be living in an apartment with native speakers. Those two things will already be a huge change! But both for the best of course.

This Monday and Tuesday are my last days of class, and then on Wednesday I leave for Moscow! I can't even believe this is happening, but I am beyond excited and thankful for this opportunity. A few weeks ago I had a group paper and project and our thesis was based around political dissent in Russia, so I am super excited to see what we all wrote about. Of course I will be doing all of the touristy things like seeing the Kremlin, the Red Square, Lenin's Mausoleum, and the Dostoyevsky Museum, but hey those are super cool things that I don't want to miss! I will DEFINITELY be putting up pictures after. It might not be until after finals but I promise I will do it, and of course blog about it too because how could I not?

So that's what's been going on lately, and what is coming up! Very excited to kick off these last two weeks (well less than two weeks but who's counting) and then come home for the holidays!

Miss you guys!

Kimberly xoxo
